Someone fell in love with our apartment on Teréz Körút based on the listing.
The only thing was, it wasn't a buyer—it was the editor of the TV show Property Hunters on RTL.
I asked:
- You won't make it look like someone else is selling it, right?
- No, there are no real estate agents in the show.
Then during the shoot, the "expert" arrived and asked if the electricity meter was a gas meter, and then whether there was underfloor heating under the traditional parquet floor.
We were relieved: indeed, there are no real estate agents in the show...
Then a red SPAR grocery bag appeared.
Out came a pair of pink plush chickens, plastic hens, and two pink mugs with the inscription:
"Real Estate Chicks."
Just like that, our elegantly staged studio turned into a poultry-themed reality show in a split second.
