Selling a property is rarely just a business decision. More often, it marks the end of one chapter and the beginning of another — a move, an inheritance, a change in family circumstances, or simply the realization that the time has come to move on.
That is why, for me, real estate has never been only about square metres, floor plans and listings.
I have been working in this field since 2008. Over nearly two decades, I have been involved in thousands of property transactions, and one thing has become clear to me time and again: no two properties, no two sellers and no two sales situations are ever exactly the same.
Some properties sell quickly. Others require patience. Some need to be repositioned, presented differently, carefully prepared for the market, or simply matched with a sales strategy that no one has tried before.
Perhaps that is exactly why I enjoy this profession so much.
I do not believe in one-size-fits-all solutions, nor do I believe that selling a property is simply a matter of taking a few good photographs and placing an advertisement. The right price positioning, presentation, marketing, buyer management, negotiation strategy and every detail of the sales process all matter.
I am particularly drawn to properties that are special in some way, difficult to price, high in value, or have been unsuccessfully marketed for an extended period. These are the situations in which experience, creativity and persistence truly make a difference — the kind of persistence that does not accept “this property cannot be sold” as the first and final answer.
We deliberately take on no more than 50 sales mandates a year.
We have no desire to manage hundreds of properties at the same time. We want every assignment to receive the time, attention and genuine strategy it deserves. We want to know the property, understand the seller’s situation, follow buyers’ reactions closely and be able to adjust our approach immediately whenever necessary.
Perhaps this is also one of the reasons why so many of our clients return to us. Over the years, we have completed not just one, but three, five or even more property transactions with many of them, and referrals from existing clients continue to account for a significant share of our new business.
That is what I am most proud of.
Because for me, distinguished attention is not a marketing phrase.
It is the way I have worked for nearly twenty years.
